We see how he became the man he is and why the man he is has so much value.Įveryone has a story that gets them to where they are. Over the course of the novel we get to know Ove through his current adventure as well as flashbacks. This man is also the sort to harshly judge you for not knowing how to drive a manual transmission. He’s extremely rude and says things you definitely don’t agree with. ![]() On the surface he is probably someone you choose to avoid. Ove is an old grump who is outwardly rude and will certainly remind you of at least one person you’ve known closely. He takes realistic characters and binds them together with just enough sap to get you right in the heartstrings. Initially he published as 'John Sinjohn' but after the death of his father in 1904 he published as John Galsworthy. Galsworthy first published in 1897 with a collection of short stories entitled “The Four Winds”. I started on Book 2 on audio already, I also bought Book 3 because I knew I would be in this for the long haul haha. I loved the steam and looooove that Rik and Daire have a relationship (my guilty pleasure is definitely M/M anything haha). Loved that her blood opens them up to their powers and that they can shift into different things. I liked that she was reluctant with stuff that RiK and Daire suggested, which is how anyone who was raised in the human world would react. ![]() I loved the storyline, from seeing Shara grow and develop feelings for her men and also seeing her start the journey into being a vampire Queen. I was super happy I did! I loved this series, its very addicting and I couldn't wait to get back in my car and wasn't too upset to be stuck in extra holiday traffic so I could listen more to Shara and her Blood. I had heard a lot of good things about this series and thought I would try it out on audio since I have had more time getting through books that way with all my traveling for work.
